Robert H. Maggard – President and Chief Executive Officer, is the sole owner of Roadway Management (RM), Florida Highway Products (FHP) and New York Bituminous Products Corporation (NYBIT) and is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the organizations. Mr. Maggard has over 20 years in the management, business development, and operations in his companies. Under Mr. Maggard’s leadership, his companies have delivered cost effective solutions for the management of government owned infrastructure. Rob resides in Winter Park, Florida with his wife and four children and is active in Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
D. Robert Bower, CPA, Chief Financial Officer – brings more than sixteen years of experience as CFO of companies as large as 500+ employees and $250 million in sales, primarily in construction and development. He has experience with all aspects of financial management, planning, budgeting, reporting, financial modeling, and providing management support. Robert has a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University and a BA in Business Administration from Greenville College.
Daniel E. Patenaude, P.E., President, RM – Northern Division – Under the management of Patenaude, RM recently constructed a state-of-the art asphalt emulsion production facility in Chester, NY, and expanded the company’s market presence from New York into New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Dan has been with RM for the past seven years. Prior to RM, he spent ten years as Commissioner of Public Works for the Town of Wallkill in Orange County, New York. Dan is a licensed Professional Engineer and graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Rick J. Volk, Esq., P.E., Executive Vice President, is an engineer and attorney with extensive experience in managing transportation projects and programs, most recently developing design-build and public-private partnership (P3) projects throughout the country. He will be leading the organization in the development and implementation of Progressive Pavement Management Programs (PPMP), primarily for government agencies. Rick brings a unique blend of expertise in business development, team leadership, and the strategic development of major projects, along with experience in project engineering, construction and as an executive with a government agency. He has developed multi-billion dollar projects, led project teams of executives from several companies, and managed a diverse staff of up to 500 people. Rick graduated from Virginia Tech in Civil Engineering and received his law degree at Widener University School of Law.
John H. Klein, VP – General Manager, RM – Southern Division, has over thirty years of professional experience in construction and utilities. John spent twenty-four years with Peter Kiewit-Gilbert Southern in which he was head of numerous multi-million dollar projects. He has received various awards for his work in construction and utilities and is considered a marquee manager and team builder.
Paul J. Gallagher, Division Controller, RM – Northern Division, is a senior level accounting/finance professional with over fifteen years of comprehensive management expertise within the financial accounting arena. Paul previously worked for Aerotech World Trade Corporation and was Corporate Controller, reporting directly to the President or Owner. |
